ABOUT ME
Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by and learning a little more about me and checking out my work! I really appreciate it and hope we can hang out!
Some of my favorite things include blush pink colored anything, Christmas music, creme brulee, binge watching Friends, and shoe shopping. Speaking of favorites, I am wife to my husband, Cody, and mom to my daughter, Emmeline, and son, Brooks. We have a beloved golden retriever, Daisy, and three cats, Boots, Devin, & Lucy. We live on my husband’s family ranch near Amherst, NE. (Not exactly the big city that I thought I would end up in, but the beautiful views, wonderful community, and of course, my cute rancher make it totally worth it!)
Most days I’m either chasing around my two babes, editing in a coffee shop while listening to Hillsong Worship, or hanging out with friends and family. Cody and I end most of our days watching The Office after the kids go to bed. I love our simple Nebraska life and wouldn’t want it any other way!
I have always loved photography and capturing memories, but my obsession with photography began once my daughter was born and I started taking pictures of her (like thousands). I began taking as many photography classes as I could and learned from some amazing mentors. Photography has become a creative outlet for me and I love being able to capture special moments that my clients can treasure for years to come!
I also truly believe in leaving a purposeful family legacy (thanks to my incredible grandparents and parents). I think photos are a beautiful way to look back on your family – where you are and where you’ve been. They are a way to document your family legacy coming to life!
My mission is that every person who I photograph would walk away feeling more beautiful and loved than they did beforehand. Every photoshoot should be a fun and relaxing experience!
I LOVE my clients and one of my favorite parts of photographing them is capturing the unique joy and love expressed by each family. Your session will be filled with laughs, dad jokes, snuggles, and ALL THE compliments (ladies, I want you to feel as gorgeous as you are!). I strive for a laid back approach where you walk away feeling like you had a fun family game night (minus throwing game pieces at your brother…but if that happens, we’ll roll with it!)
